Cool online tool to hold you accountable to your goals

I just watched another AWESOME episode (Episode 89) of Andrew Lock‘s Web TV Show “Help!  My Business Sucks!”

I’m not a regular viewer, but I probably should be.  It’s that good.

The show is really dynamite.

Andrew always offers great, innovative, fun ways that any business can effectively and authentically market their business.

PLUS, on each episode he previews a couple of really useful resources, tips, or tools to make life better.

One of those tools is especially helpful this time of year when people he world over are working on their New Years Resolutions.  It’s the free online accountability tool called habitforge.

This is so powerful because lack of accountability and tracking of goals are two major stumbling blocks to goal achievement.

What’s cool about this tool is that it’s based on the idea that it takes at least 21 days to create a new habit.  You do this in 3 easy steps:

  1. You name the goal, resolution, or challenge.
  2. Each day, habitforge will send an email asking how you’re doing.  You send back an email so the system can track your progress for you.
  3. Succeed for 21 days and then you can do it again, if you like.

Of course, you have to send an honest answer back to habitforge to get the full benefit of the program, as it sends you back to Day 1 if you skip a day of implementing your new goal.

That it!  Not much too it, but truly, the simpler our goals are the more likely we are to actually manifest them in our reality.

Try out habitforge and let me know what you think.
