Meeting challenges by embracing your value and unlimited uniqueness
This may come as no surprise when I say that sometimes life presents us with challenges, and we wonder how we’re going to make it to the other side of them.
In these instances, I’m reminded of the very empowering and inspirational quote by Emerson:
“The power that is in you is new in nature. And no one but you knows what you can do. Nor do you know until you try.”
What a great way to start a Monday morning, knowing that our own power to morph every challenge into an opportunity is within our grasp.
Still, mentally comprehending the meaning of Emerson’s words, though encouraging, doesn’t mean you’re in the flow or feeling very magnetic.
What to do?
Boosting self-esteem by reminding ourselves of our value is one way to turn the tide in the mental and emotion direction we want to go, as I discussed in a recent article on releasing The Rapunzel Complex.
Since magnetism and attraction are all about how we’re feeling and the intensity and focus of the feeling, we can often borrow inspiration from others.
One example of this is a poem I want to share with you whose message of inspiration I am borrowing today. It’s by James T. Moore and was reprinted just before the preface of Bob Proctor’s Ebook, You Were Born Rich.
I share it with you here with the intention that you also be filled to overflowing with the same inspiration I felt when I read it this morning.
One And Only You
Every single blade of grass,
And every flake of snow –
Is just a wee bit different …
There’s no two alike, you know.
From something small, like grains of sand,
To each gigantic star
All were made with THIS in mind:
To be just what they are!
How foolish then, to imitate –
How useless to pretend!
Since each of us comes from a MIND
Whose ideas never end.
There’ll only be just ONE of ME To show what I can do –
And you should likewise feel very proud,
There’s only ONE of YOU.
That is where it all starts
With you, a wonderful unlimited human being.
